Moomin Light lamps
In the Moomin Lights product range you will find three familiar friends from Moomin Valley - Moomintroll, Snorkmaiden and Hattifattener. The different size options include a suitable luminaire from a bedside lamp to a sculpturally large Moomin lamp, which is an eye-catcher in any space and is also available for outdoor use!
All products are manufactured in Finland - Origin of the Moomins.
Tove Jansson
Tove Jansson (1914-2001) is one of the most famous Finnish visual artists of all time. Her magnificent life's work consists of the artist's merits as a painter, draftsman, writer and cartoonist.
Above all, Jansson is known as the creator of the Moomins. Moomin stories have been published as novels, picture books and comics, and translations are already available in fifty different languages.
Harri Koskinen
Moomin lamps have been designed by internationally recognized designer Harri Koskinen / Friends of Industry. Koskinen has been awarded for his work e.g. With the Pro Finlandia medal and the Kaj Franck design award. The Block luminaire, which brought the designer to the attention of the general public, is in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
Moomin luminaires show Harri Koskinen's simple and personal design language, which wonderfully combines modern design and the Moomins' soft and cheerful attitude to life into a time-lasting, sympathetic design object.
